Use and scope of application

CMW1 series intelligent universal circuit breakers (hereinafter referred to as circuit breakers) are suitable for use in power distribution networks with AC 50Hz, rated voltage up to 400V and below, rated current 400A~6300A, to distribute electrical energy and protect lines and power supply equipment from overload, undervoltage, short circuit, single-phase grounding and other faults. The circuit breaker has intelligent protection functions and precise selective protection, which can improve the reliability of power supply and avoid unnecessary power outages. It also has an open communication interface for "four remote controls" to meet the requirements of control centres and automation systems. The circuit breaker has an impulse withstand voltage of 8000 V at an altitude of 2000 m (different altitudes are corrected according to the standard, up to a maximum of 12000 V). The circuit breaker has an isolation function, indicated as "".

Circuit breakers conform to the following standards.

Normal use and installation conditions

● Ambient air temperature

The upper limit shall not exceed +40℃, the lower limit shall not be lower than -5℃, and the average value of 24h shall not exceed +35℃; Note: For working conditions where the lower limit is -10℃ or -25℃, the user shall declare to the Company; for working conditions where the upper limit exceeds +40℃ or the lower limit is lower than

-10°C or -25°C working conditions, the user should consult with the Company.

● The altitude of the installation site shall not exceed 2000m.

● Atmospheric conditions

Atmospheric relative humidity not exceeding 50% when the ambient air is +40°C. Higher relative humidity is possible at lower temperatures, with an average monthly maximum relative humidity of 90% in the wettest month and an average minimum temperature of +25°C for that month, taking into account condensation occurring on the product surface due to temperature changes. Exceeding the specified requirements should be negotiated with the Company.

● Protection class: IP30

● Contamination class: Class 3

● Use category: Class B or A

● Installation category

Circuit breakers with a rated operating voltage of 400V or less and undervoltage derailleurs, power transformer primary coils for installation category V, auxiliary circuits and control circuits for installation category l.

● Installation conditions

The circuit breaker shall be installed in accordance with the requirements of this instruction manual with a vertical inclination of the circuit breaker not exceeding 5° (for mining circuit breakers the inclination shall not exceed 15°).
